Pathways is a unique part of Anne Arundel Health System that outsiders rarely see. This 40-bed freestanding complex on the outskirts of Annapolis is open 24 hours a day for the inpatient and outpatient treatment of adolescents and adults with alcohol or drug addictions. If a single word can capture the spirit of the Pathways program, it would be "caring." A dedicated staff of credentialed professionals and skilled support staff are committed to a patient-centered philosophy that has helped hundreds of individuals since Pathways opened in 1992. A not-for-profit organization, Pathways offers a continuum of medical, outpatient and rehabilitative treatment services tailored to the special needs of each person who comes here.
